Another 500 tickets for One Shot for Glory suddenly are sprouting on the market on Friday. Have they found another tunnel to stick chairs in?
And the Yellow Fever Pandemic that I got today is full of good ideas.
I reckon the call for everyone to ear white (they’re calling it “All White on the Night” which is an improvement on the Dunedin cricket test) will work. They want it to look like this.
There’s also some Festival of Football thing on at the Events Centre over the weekend.
The other thing they’re talking about on ZB is trying to get everyone into the stadium an hour before kick-off to make (white) noise, chant and sing.
I think that one might be pushing it.

I heard somewhere a while back that they were going to put in extra seating between the stand and the sideline. Good move really, pack 'em on so the Bahraini's are made to feel most unwelcome.

Nope. They're not allowed to by FIFA regulations.
The problem with wearing white is the kick-off time. I certainly don't have a white coat, and I'm not going to buy one for the game or f**king freeze to death.

Virph,
Wear normal stuff with a white t-shirt or sheet over it.
And if it's cold try a white towel or bathrobe.
In fact I've got a white bathrobe; I'll gladly swap for a ticket.

Good luck, you’ll need to Refresh at the right second. But if you manage it get me one too.
Because I’m not sensing much warmth from Virphen on my offer of the white dressing gown.
Not holding out much hope of the free tickets this guy promised me months ago.
Still keen for a beer in town beforehand though.

Good luck getting tickets, it should be a brilliant night, as long as you're parochial and we don't go behind by a couple early.
LB, for me to want to swap my ticket for a dressing gown would no doubt earn me a ticket to an institution in Porirua.
Although the effect of those cake tin seats on my dodgy back could earn me a ticket to a different type of medical facility.

And as it happens the white dressing gown would come in handy there too.
The best thing about the All White on the Night thing is that it’s the Bahraini fans who’ll be doing it properly.
