As Merrick was saying this morning that would have to be the biggest 1-1 massacre ever, crap finishing by the Phoenix, But shockers do happen as long as it doesn’t occur too often, would of been a total embarrassment if they’d lost to the Mariners.
As said before reckon Merrick still doesn’t have the balance right… don’t rate Rodriguez, I’d drop the bloke & put McGlinchey in midfield & either play Cunningham or Boyd as a striker along side Burns & Krishna, then we’d get a lot more flow between the midfield & strikers.
No wonder McGlinchey looks like he’s caught in two minds a fair bit of the time with Merrick playing him as a striker & also having him sweeping back as a midfielder, that’s bloody ridiculous ! Christ, you play a player where you’re going to get the best out of him.
