The clubs shut down at junior level for those 8 weeks too.
The better ones run coaching sessions for the last 2 weeks in January though.
Sadly, these are attended by not only the keen kids but by kids of parents looking for a nice bit of sly subsidised childcare. (Saves getting those caregivers roped in during the holidays)
