I have a new found respect for the man.
In fairness, the guy can bat – to my knowledge he remains the only NZ keeper to score a 100 in both innings of a first class match, and they were both pearlers (lucky enough to see them both live – ironically, it was on the same wicket I was run out without faci……oh forget it.)
