Tialata did step through the lineout, a dangerous tatic when jumpers are lifted in the air… I have and would have reacted in the same way Newlands did I think the punch came off better than he intended.
It was a purely reactionary punch as he was doing the lifting.
The lock could have come down on his shoulder or worse.
Breath deep and suck your punishment Neemia you got what you deserved. 😉
