Its the same logic as to why foreign based players will NEVER be selected for the All Blacks as it will immediately destroy the game as it stands in this country due to pure economies of scale….everyone will leave !
The reason why we are consistently able to beat the likes of Australia, England and France despite them being able to select from a greater player base and having more dollars to invest in the game is becuase of the way the game is structured in this country where our players are grown from from club, school, back to the club when finished school, province, franchise and then (finally) country.
No other country has this.
