To answer the original question of the post. There is no official captain (to my knowledge). Phil Jones, Kirk Penny, Tony Ronaldson and Paul Henare form a leadership group.
Captain is not a big deal like it is in rugby.
However every player has the right to challenge another player to make sure everyone is on there game
