Yup, well said.
The point is, Meg MAY actually be in the top handful of half-backs eligible for WWE 07, but the fact is he gave NZRU / The Headmaster Cartel about a week to decide that, and make an offer accordingly.
No rational person could honestly expect that kind of commitment in that time-frame about a guy that age. This was clearly about pushing up his market value; to try and whinge and bleat and whine and piss and moan and blame Deaker and Matheson is just taking the piss.
