There is theory that true golfing Nazis have just the personality that lends itself to their wives being bloody pleased to have them out on the course talking about grips with their ilk for as long as they like.
It’s the obsession that a lot of ordinary golfers have in becoming slightly less mediocre that intrigues me.
I mean; you don’t get many social rugby players saying “If only I can make the 3C team this year”
