I think, considering the joke game 20/20 is, that your being harsh on the Jaapies.
The candyfloss cricket format is such that one lucky innings can, and usually does, win the game.
Blow-outs and collapses will happen with regularity.
Having stated that the Indian score was only average although Smith, prior to the game stated that he expected the ball to do a bit all night which I assume proved to be true.
I note also that while New Zealand were favourites for the 1991, 1995 and 1999 WWE trophy tournaments the Jaapies never were (except in SA) for this one.
