Um Biff, we’re talking cricket here. NZRU / Gummint etc are putting in $350m or whatever to give Eden Park a coat of paint and a touch up as the country’s flagship rugby ground (thereby robbing Eden Park 2 the chance of becoming a decent cricket ground)

So it looks as if Auckland Cricket better get their sh*t together pretty quickly at Colin Maiden then.

BTW, is NZ the only country that has specialist test / ODI grounds?
