I thought the plan was to have the University Oval up and running as a test venue by then. You’d certainly hope so.
And what a blight on the state of things in this country that the team with the biggest contingent of travelling fans (they’ll outnumber the locals again) get their test matches shoved out into the provinces.
Yeah you might be right, seem to recall a SS domestic game there (at the Oval) and the commentatiors (local) were harping on about a test being played there.
