Saw the second half of the Ger/Pol game. I would agree that the Poles certainly put men behind the ball in an effort to lock things up at 0-0, but in saying that it was an effective ploy for most of the game, and they played with some ticker.
Hardly exciting, but they looked a much better team than the Ecuador result would suggest.
