Even if it’s the same teams a final in competition NZ teams have traditionally dominated does not equal a Currie Cup final.
Many years ago I traveled around a bit with a full-on Cockney. He was a huge football and cricket fan, but hated rugby with a passion.
He did, however, watch every 5 nations game England played. When I asked him why that was, given he hated the sport, he said “Because it’s important”.
