Not sure why it is a choice between Franklin and Watson, but to answer your question I would take Watson.
Now if you asked me to choose two players from Franklin, Watson and Bond I would leave Bond out every time, Franklin and Watson might only be journeyman but at least the buggers turn up and give 100% most of the time, not just when it suits them.
