Westie, you are quite right. The abuse and vilification of players and management is horrendous. However, it is not weasel words blaming everybody else the way it happens here.
Most of the abuse and complaining has been about the ref, tournie, other teams. There seems to be a collective cultural inability to accept that the all blacks are not greek gods who were cruelly robbed by dark forces.
I briefly mentioned mclaren or mr 9th choice as I like to refer to him on another thread and opined that only somebody unsuitable would want the job!
