The centres thing has come unstuck because their preferred option (Smith) has been injured all year and is being treated with care. Then Mauger has steadily lost form to the level where there must be huge doubts as to whether he’ll make the squad in a year’s time.
The f**k-up with the Toeava flirtation didn’t help either.
But isn’t the big talking point the fact the Virphen’s mate McDonald gets another run, basically at the expense of either Luke or Smith?
