The book is pretty clear that Tua was feared amongst all in the division – and by most more than Tyson.
The thinking was that while Tyson was an absolute animal if you could get past 4 or so rounds you were fine as he lost all power.
Tua was capable of knocking you out right up until the last seconds in round 12 – which he achieved a couple of times to win fights he was behind in.
I would have to check the stats but the heavyweight average is something like 48 punches a round – in his early years he was well above this and is in fact the holder of the most punches per round ever with another boxer.
