NRL Week 10
0THURSDAY: Eels V Dolphins – CommBank Stadium – 21.50NZT
It’s time for the Eels to get their A into G against a faltering Dolphins side who have found themselves once again in this position.
Parra were slightly off the pace coming back from the bye last week against a strong Sharks side, but will have their tails up being back at home.
Dolphins injury concerns have been the crux of their fall in form in 2025, but Donoghoe and Kaufusi inclusions are important.
I just think that the formula of the Eels is starting to get perfected. They are playing a dominant halves game. Turning the opposition around, and causing issues. It could be a long night for Redcliffe.
TIP: Eels 13+
FRIDAY: Knights V Titans – McDonald Jones Stadium – 20.00NZT
The Knights, are they back!?
The Titans are definitely not back. They really miss Kieran Foran and some halves direction. Plus with all the concerns around Fifita, there’s not many positive press stories coming from the Gold Coast.
Newcastle will definitely be up for this. I’m not going to say they are back – but they’ve got all the ingredients to find their feet and get back to the form we know they can play at.
We know the Titans love an upset, they can pull a random win out of their asses, so don’t be surprised if they do somehow win this. I just don’t see it happening this week.
TIP: Knights 1-12
Rabbitohs V Broncos – Accor Stadium – 22.00NZT
The Rabbitohs obviously have injury concerns, but they have more people back this week which will really help their cause.
The Broncos obviously have form concerns, they have been up and down all year around – and were really awful last week.
Madge won’t be happy with this inconsistency. Especially as Origin looms its head over the next 6 weeks.
What’s Wayne got up his sleeve to pull off an upset at home?
When will we see a Brisbane side come out and play the way we should see them?
TIP: Broncos 1-12
SATURDAY: Raiders V Bulldogs – GIO Stadium – 17.00NZT
This is the game of the round for sure!
That EPIC Raiders win in Golden Point in the rain against the Storm has really given the Raiders premiership credentials.
And we know that the Bulldogs defence and discipline has slipped over the last few weeks, but this is the game we know that they won’t want to drop.
I like the way the Raiders forward rotation is being used. They’re giving it to other opposition packs, and coming up against this grindy, hard-working ‘Dogs pack will really be a good test to see just what their ceiling is for 2025.
I think the Bulldogs backline is more electric, but the Raiders are currently more in sync. Gonna be a bloody good game.
TIP: Raiders 1-12
Dragons V Warriors – WIN Stadium – 19.30NZT
A few down weeks for the Dragons, coming up against a red-hot Warriors side – things could be a little tough for the Red V in Wollongong.
The Warriors are absolutely flying. Their form is incredible. The way they have punched above their weight every week, even with troops on the sideline, has to be commended.
The Dragons have some injury concerns of their own – but as we’ve seen earlier this year, their backs are against the wall and they need a performance that will bring them out of the darkness.
I think this game will be closer than people think, but Wahs to still win.
TIP: Warriors 1-12
Cowboys V Panthers – Queensland Country Bank Stadium – 21.35NZT
The Panthers showed us it’s not over yet! And with the return of To’o and Kenny this week, they are only going to be stronger.
And the Cowboys still looked really good last week, despite a slow first-half performance. At home, after beating Penrith at CommBank five weeks ago, they know they are capable of getting the W.
If the Cowboys take it to Penrith. Really stick it to their forwards, we could see another NQL win.
I just think that huge confidence boost the Panthers took last week will be very helpful for this one.
TIP: Panthers 1-12
SUNDAY: Storm V Tigers – AAMI Park – 16.00NZT
They are REALLY missing Harry Grant. That shouldn’t be the only thing defining this Melbourne side at the moment but it seems like it is.
The Tigers won’t go down to Victoria and die wondering. They will absolutely bring that swagger and confidence we’ve seen through the first third of this competition.
I like the way they won’t back down. They will take it to the Storm. They will niggle them, get under their skin.
It would have been a tough week in Melbourne, but I think they will know they let themselves down after letting a 14-0 lead slip last week.
Time to turn that ship around.
TIP: Storm 1-12
Sea Eagles V Sharks – 4 Pines Park – 18.05
It’s the Women in League Round finale.
Manly welcomes back key stars Tom Trbojevic and Jason Saab, aiming to end a home drought against Cronulla stretching back to 2019 .
The Sharks, led by Nicho Hynes, seek redemption after a narrow Round 6 win over Manly. With both teams boasting potent attacks, this promises to be a high-scoring thriller with finals implications.
TIP: Sea Eagles 1-12
