Welcome to Sportsfreak

Welcome to the sports site that’s been designed for people who love sport as much as we do.  This site isn’t just about Rugby, Racing and Beer (although you will find some of that in here), inside you will find articles and content on a vast number of other sports including Football, Cricket, Basketball and many American Sports including the NBA and NFL.

Our team

Our specialist team includes Sportsfreak co-founder and Cricket guru Graeme ‘Leg Break’ Beasley. Graeme features on a number of Radio Stations across New Zealand where he talks sport and mixes banter with the high rollers of New Zealand Broadcasting on a regular basis – keep an ear out for him. We also have American sporting aficionado Hamish ‘Girvana’ as well as our Boxing expert Keith ‘Biff McCool’ Miller as well as a resident Rugby League expert Stephen Gallagher who works for More FM in Gisborne and provides us with weekly NRL predictions during the winter months.
