Roosters 24 Bulldogs 10
The Roosters put on another solid show, as the Doggies slumped to their third straight loss. The Roosters are really starting to get a roll on this season, ten rounds in. Their backs flourished and the Bulldogs were hapless. The Doggies need more muscle up front.
Cowboys 31 Broncos 20
The Cowboys beat big brother, a revenge match after being trounced seven rounds earlier. The Cowboys go seven wins in a row. They are really looking like Premiers in their current form. This game went all on the hattrick hero Michael Morgan, who is currently in career best form.
Warriors 17 Eels 13
It was a Bodene Thompson try in Golden Point that sealed the second win in a row for the Warriors. Though the result could have been different if Luke Kelly kicked at least one conversion from his three attempts.
The Warriors went down to 15 men for the majority of the match, but they dug deep when it counted and got a much needed win before the bye.
Sharks 23 Titans 22
The Sharks were heroic on the back of Valentine Homes who kicked a great field goal to land his team a hard win in Robina.
The Titans were tough throughout, but lacked when it counted the most – and that’s what cost them in the end. The Sharks never gave up.
Storm 16 Rabbitohs 12
Other than Cameron Smith kicking Isaac Luke in the face, this game was pretty good. Both sides are really tough, and brought a big physical performance to the table. The Storm did enough on the back of their forwards, who as well as running and tackling hard – showed plenty of skills with ball in hand.
Dragons 32 Raiders 18
If you thought the Dragons would be a top four side after ten rounds, you’re a liar. They have really shaped up this season, and have plenty of great young talent.
With their game shaped around their tough defence, they’ve definitely put the flair on attack. They scored some brilliant tries when they spun it out wide.
Knights 22 Tigers 12
The battle of the losers in this game. Both sides have been really disappointing this season. The Knights ended up prevailing, but it wasn’t exactly a flash win. The Tigers need to work hard with ball in hand if they want to string some wins together.
Panthers 11 Sea Eagles 10
Even though the Sea Eagles dominated the majority of the match, they couldn’t clinch the final result. A Matt Moylan field goal was the difference, after the Panthers outscored the Sea Eagles 7-0 in the second half.
