Broncos 44 Knights 22
The Knights never stood a chance. With suffering early late tries through their God awful defence. Brisbane never got out of third gear, and put 44 points on them – that shows how terrible Newcastle are, and also shows just how good Brisbane are.
Rabbitohs 20 Sea Eagles 8
This was a little bit of a scrappy game. Neither side were at their best. The Rabbitohs got the result with plenty of hard work, the Sea Eagles may be dead last – but they’re gonna cause some problems for teams in the run to the finals.
Warriors 30 Raiders 8
The best attacking side were held to only eight points, as the Warriors put on their second solid performance in successive weeks. The Raiders halves Williams and Austin were not at their best, and it showed. Shaun Johnson delivered big time for the Warriors.
Sharks 24 Cowboys 18
The streak is over! 11 in a row and not a win more, the Cowboys conceded 24 points in a row to go down in a pretty strange game. The Cowboys needed a loss, and it came at a right time. The Sharks were very gutsy to get up after a bad first half.
Eels 16 Dragons 12
Both sides were hardly impressive, but a Semi Radradra hat-trick was the difference. It was a pretty average match – both sides looked like they could happily lose, but it was the Dragons who didn’t do enough throughout 80 minutes.
Roosters 20 Titans 10
The Roosters won this game right on the stroke of half time, with a slippery James Maloney try breaking the backs of the Gold Coast on the Central Coast. The Roosters were far from amazing, but their defence was pretty close as they kept the Titans to two tries.
Panthers 35 Tigers 12
The Tigers were HOPELESS! And not for the first time at Leichhardt Oval this season. The Panthers were not amazing, they just went through the motions and got the result as they wore Wests down. This could be the spark they need to try race for the finals, but for the Tigers this could be the loss that sees them never make it back.
Bulldogs 20 Storm 4
It was three quick tries in the first fifteen minutes that lit up the Bulldogs in their first game back at Belmore for years! They were solid in the first half! Both sides were a little scrappy in the second, but it was definitely a good game. The 18,000 strong fans made it seem like 25,000 and they should take more games back there!
