NRL Week 15
0THURSDAY: Sharks V Dragons – Sharks Stadium – 21.50NZT
Two teams that have fallen out of favour of the last couple weeks. What I see at Cronulla is an attitude problem.
They have the cattle to win, but the cows ain’t doing the work.
For the Red V – they just lack dominant halves. It’s concerning. They also have a bit of an injury crisis that is hindering them.
Cronulla have to rectify what’s going wrong. A Thursday night at home is a great place to start.
Dragons come in under the radar – and a centre on debut too.
TIP: Sharks 1-12
FRIDAY: Titans V Sea Eagles – CBus Super Stadium – 22.00NZT
Due to DCE being dropped (Queensland just don’t get Origin!), this could be the last time we see Foran and Cherry-Evans take the field at the same time.
Obviously two Manly legends and premiership winners, now rivals, there will be a bittersweet moment out on the field.
Titans have no chance of winning this, which is why they will probably win this game.
For the Sea Eagles, they are near full strength. Don’t mess this up like you did last week. Idiots.
TIP: Sea Eagles 13+
SATURDAY: Knights V Roosters – McDonald Jones Stadium – 19.30NZT
The most talked-about halfback who hasn’t played all year in Jackson Hastings gets a start for the Knights and will probably turn their fortunes around and get dropped next week.
The Roosters will show up in Newcastle with plenty of confidence. What they did to Cronulla three weeks ago, without their Origin stars, breathed life back into their season.
For the Knights, they have been let down by their first-half performances all year. They can’t afford to let the Roosters get the jump on them.
TIP: Roosters 1-12
Cowboys V Dolphins – Queensland Country Bank Stadium – 21.30NZT
Spare a thought for Jordan McLean, playing with the son a former teammate in Tom Learoyd-Lahrs. That must make him feel old as Kaiden Lahrs makes his first-grade debut.
There’s some swagger in this Dolphins side. Putting up a casual 50-piece pack last week and made it look easy, despite all the season-ending injuries they have in their ranks.
The Cowboys are only one point ahead of the Dolphins, despite Redcliffe having more wins…Getting two points for the bye is dumb.
I reckon this is game of the round. Queensland derby. Two teams that love to sling it around.
TIP: Dolphins 1-12
SUNDAY: Rabbitohs V Bulldogs – Accor Stadium – 18.05NZT
Okay well, maybe this is game of the round. The Bunnies with a 1-7 Indigenous backline is awesome to see.
Dogs without their Origin stars, but with Lachie Galvin in the 6 – it’s not all doom and gloom.
Souths are sitting in 12th but only one win outside of the 8 shows how close this comp is.
Of course the Doggies are firm favourites, but after last week’s disappointment in Canberra, the Rabbitohs will be looking to bounce back.
TIP: Bulldogs 1-12
