Sporting Pictures of the week :- 5 December

Rugby Union; the game for all sizes.  Wales’s Leigh Halfpenny is not a big man, and Springbok Eben Elzebeth is.  Just shows what a well-placed tackle can achieve.

This photo was actually taken earlier this year but did the rounds during the week.  Apparently the Iranian women’s football team was banned by FIFA earlier this year for being not entirely … women.  If you look closely you should be able to work out the prime suspects.

If you own a Premier League football team you can leave the ground post-match from a helicopter from the centre circle because you’re the boss and you can do what you like.  But this is Leicester City.  Make the most of it champ.

Are the faithful turning on Arsene?  No doubt a similar picture will appear this time next year.
