Outraged of Thorndon
1Oh OK, two football clubs from the English Premier League are coming to town in July. They both play on the same day against the Mighty Wellington Phoenix and an Aussie team; always cheating. Tickets start from $35.
You would think this is good news, but I am JUST SO OUTRAGED. The one chance to recognise and thank the Yellow Fever and they have just gone ahead and so blown it. And I am so going to tell you all about it.
West Ham and Newcastle might be decent sized football clubs but they clearly haven’t grasped how big and important the Yellow Fever is. As well as busy. We have been busy all day talking about this. Big, busy and important. That’s the Yellow Fever Fan Zone right there.
This is really disappointing. We are just the best fans in the whole country and we do not take well to being humiliated like this. In the Press Release that went with this they did not once mention the existence of Yellow Fever and our Fan Zone.
NOT ONCE.
All those quotes from Reid, Allerdyce, Pardew and Dome, and they have completely ignored the most important people in all of this. The Yellow Fever fans, and our Fan Zone.
You really would think that, after seven years, they would get it.
Anyway, we are not going to be going along to watch or support those teams anyway. We will be going along to cheer on the Yellow Fever Wellington Phoenix.
And then the ticketing. Where is the respect for the fans? They have REFUSED to allocate us our own Yellow Fever Fan Zone. That is disgusting. We are the best fans in the whole country.
We are BANNED from choosing which aisle we sit in. And we have been sitting in that aisle for seven years, and we are the football club.
We are FORCED to be able to choose only Gold, Silver or Bronze. Those are just so confusing and disrespectful to us.
And Ticketek itself. How generic their website is. And we are expected to head off there and understand all their terminology. Clearly they do not understand us, and how important we are to this fixture.
You would think, that after seven years, the Wellington Phoenix would have got its own ticketing system. For us. Should be pretty straight-forward
Because we are so loyal, and so supportive, that it is so much our right to be able to sit together. As we always do. For seven years.
Is that too much to ask for? Given we are the Yellow Fever Fan Zone after all.
