Worst decision ever?
8Tonight at Eden Park we witnessed possibly the worst refereeing decision ever.
The Blues were attacking and were 10 metres from the Hurricanes line.
Nonu threw a pass that was clearly forward.
Defending Hurricanes fullback knocked the ball down, and obviously backwards.
A penalty was awarded to the Blues and , despite the touch judge stating that the ball had been knocked back, the TMO was called in. Because calling in a TMO is what referees do in 2014.
Words were put into his mouth that this was a deliberate knock-on, and a Penalty Try and Yellow Card were given.
Not only were the seven points taken, but The Blues scored another try while the Hurricanes were down to 14 men.
And we are told this is Super.
